Diamond Wedding Band
Diamond Wedding Band
Some pieces come to us together and we are loathe to break them apart. This wedding band is engraved June 20, 1940 in the earlier days of World War II. The wedding band represents the promise and love of two people living in an uncertain but hopeful time. It is paired with an engagement ring.
This platinum and diamond band features 10 single cut diamonds channel-set with a millgrain frame. The diamonds total approximately 0.25CTW and are of approximately I-J color and VS clarity. The inside of the band is stamped 10% IRID and with the DB maker's mark of Dinhofer Bros. of New York. Engraved "HCM to NP 6-20-40". Made c. 1940.
This ring is in excellent vintage condition. It is presently a finger size 5.75 and can be resized.
