Guarantee
Every jewel at Gray & Davis has been examined by a GIA Graduate Gemologist, and we use our vast knowledge of historical styles, materials and fabrication techniques to thoroughly vet each piece. All items are guaranteed as described, including condition, gemstones and metal content, and approximate date of manufacture. We extend a lifetime return policy for authenticity.
Because many of our pieces pre-date formal grading by gemological laboratories, some of our diamonds have not been certified. In these instances the diamonds have been given an approximate grade as the mounting permits by our staff gemologist(s).
While all of our antique and vintage pieces are in functional and wearable condition, please be aware that certain pieces may require additional care. We are happy to discuss further, and help you determine how different pieces will stand up to your daily activities.
The jewels in our collection are decades, often centuries old. They do show signs of age and wear of varying degrees, and are sold "as is." We do our very best to describe and photograph these items accurately.
We offer one complimentary sizing with every ring purchase, with the exception of eternity bands, and annual complimentary cleaning and stone-tightening for life. Insurance valuations can be provided for any piece purchased from us upon request.
Payment
We accept all major credit cards, wire transfers, personal checks and cash. All check payments must clear before items can be picked up or shipped.
Lay Away
Lay away is available for all in-store purchases for up to three months, with 1/3 payment down. All payments must be received in full before items can be picked up or shipped.
Shipping
All shipments are insured to their full purchase price, and sent overnight via UPS. All orders must be signed for by an individual aged 21+. Orders received before 2pm EDT will ship the same day. Orders received after 2pm will ship the next day the store is open. Orders for rings that require sizing will ship once work is complete, generally 5-7 days after purchase.
We do not process or ship orders during scheduled closures & holidays, please check our business hours for details.
International Orders
We currently ship to Canada, the UK and Europe. If you have a request outside of these areas, please email info@grayanddavis.com.
Due to fees related to customs and duties, we regret that items shipped to addresses outside of the United States are not returnable.
United Kingdom - Shipping to the UK is available for a flat rate of $150. All shipments are insured to their full purchase price and sent via FedEx. Packages will generally arrive within 3 – 4 business days; however, customs clearance into the UK may cause additional delays. Purchaser is responsible for all duties and taxes upon delivery. FedEx will contact you once shipment has cleared customs to collect the total amount due. Refused shipments that are returned to Gray & Davis will not be refunded.
Returns
We want you to love your pieces. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 5 days of receipt to discuss.
Purchases from Gray & Davis that are unaltered and unworn can be returned for a refund or store credit within 14 days of receipt, minus a 4% restocking fee. Returns beyond 14 days will not be accepted.
Sized ring return must be approved in advance by Gray & Davis.
Special orders, items sourced for a specific client, custom jewelry or pieces that have been altered (engraving or other bespoke customizations) are final sale and may not be returned.
To start the return process, call or email us within 5 days of in-store purchase or shipping delivery to discuss. We offer free shipping on returns and will provide a return shipping label via email. Once a return is approved and the shipping label is sent, item(s) must be shipped to Gray & Davis within 2 days.
Items purchased in-store and online may also be returned in person to Gray & Davis during business hours, within 14 days of in-store purchase or shipping delivery.
All items being returned must be in their “as-purchased” condition in order to receive a refund or store credit.
*An extended return period may be offered with pre-approval at our discretion. Please get in touch if you are planning a special gift or proposal and we will do our best to accommodate your timeline.
Store Credit
Store credit is valid for up to one year from the issue date.
Orders & Price
We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order in our sole discretion, even after your receipt of an order confirmation or after your credit card has been charged. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price, we have the right to refuse or cancel orders placed for the product listed at the incorrect price, regardless of whether the order has been confirmed or your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we will issue a credit to your credit card account.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. We will not sell, share or trade any information you supply to us with a third party, except for the express purpose of processing a payment and shipment of Gray & Davis inventory items purchased from us. We may use non-personally identifiable information, such as your IP address and the pages that you visit on our site, for the express purpose of diagnosing problems and improving our website. We use "cookies" to collect this product and purchase information, which do not contain any personally identifiable information.
