Mid-Century Carved Band
Mid-Century Carved Band
Some folks like a plain gold band. And that is totally fine, sometimes you want your engagement ring to be the star of the show. But for some, the ring is the thing, and decorated gold is the way to go.
Carved gold bands had a resurgence in the mid-20th Century and this one is particularly lovely. It has a bit of feminine energy with clusters of hand engraved flowers separated by flowing leaves. The 6.6mm wide band was made in 22K yellow gold. This ring has London hallmarks and was made c. 1962. It is signed W.W.LD. for William Wilkinson of London.
This ring is in excellent vintage condition. It is presently finger size 5 and can be resized with limitations.
