A charming Art Deco engagement ring in platinum with a 0.40 carat F-G color and VS2 clarity old European cut diamond centrally set within a smooth bezel. Center diamond is framed by unique reeded pierce work and four tiny single cut diamond accents within triangular borders. The total carat weight of the ring is approximately .48cts. Shoulders are decorated with pierced scrollwork and engraved foliate detail. The inside of the band is engraved with the following: "F.S.N. from J.V.M. Jan. 1921". This ring was made c.1921

This ring is in very good vintage condition. There are moderate signs of wear against the side of the ring where a wedding band was worn against it. It is presently a size 6.25 and can be resized.
