In this piece the bold colors and strong shapes are perfectly balanced with delicate craftsmanship. Platinum Art Deco engagement ring with an Old European cut center diamond that is approximately  .55 carats, I color and SI1 clarity. It is bezel set and delicately suspended in a halo of negative space. The outer most border is comprised of alternating emeralds and onyx French cut gemstones channel set within a gently milligrain border. Three bitty old European cut diamonds flank either side. Total diamond carat weight is .67 carats.  A surprise, just below the center is a gallery of hand pierced openwork.  c.1920-1930

This ring is in very good vintage condition. There are moderate signs of wear around the outer bezel.  It is presently a size 6 and can be resized.
