A cushion shaped, mixed cut, bright and vibrant blue sapphire is the star of this antique ring. It weighs approx. 1.91carats, and is flanked by a tiny old European cut diamond on either side. The diamonds are set in platinum and the sapphire in a yellow gold crown, while the shank and gallery are fashioned in 18K rose gold. The ring has French hallmarks and was once attached to a diamond ring.

This ring is most likely of Edwardian origin, made c. 1895-1910, and it is in very good antique condition. This ring is presently a size 7.25, and can be re-sized upon request.
