An impressive late Victorian moonstone and diamond cluster ring. A moonstone cabochon is prong set in 14k gold, surrounded by 14 old mine cut diamonds set in a platinum halo. Two additional diamonds rest in platinum on the tapering 14k yellow gold shoulders. Total diamond carat weight is approximately 0.85ctw, of I color and SI1 clarity. Halo measures 1.6cm in diameter. This ring was made c.1900.
This ring is in excellent antique condition.
This ring is presently a size 6, and can be re-sized. This ring has a large open back, so we recommend sizing ¼ size smaller than your current ring size.
