They are always cut in high cabochons to reveal the shining star within; this one of grey-blue hue is approximately 16.5 carats and has strong phenomenon.

This ring has the added joy of sapphire on sapphire, with this twinkling center stone surrounded by a delicate ring of French-cut blue sapphires. Additional calibre cut sapphires adorn the shoulders, giving way to a gorgeous engraving on the three visible sides of the band. The setting’s basket is also fully engraved. An Art Deco creation, the attention to detail is just beyond thorough.

This ring is in great antique condition, with some very light wear to the blue sapphires. It is finger size 5.5 and can be resized.
