This 18K yellow gold ring features a 3ct hessonite garnet in an almost claw-like prong setting. Engraving on the basket has hints of green enamel. Carving down the shoulders, reminiscent of an amphora, have traces of red and blue enamel. It was made c. 1630.

This Renaissance-era ring is in good antique condition. Much of the enamel on the shoulders has worn away with time and there is light scratching on the garnet. Presently a finger size 7 and can be resized.
