Coiled Snake Ring
Coiled Snake Ring
Who could resist the joyful snake depicted in this Victorian yellow gold ring? This friend coils around your finger four times, and smiles up at you with tiny single cut diamond eyes. Serpents, symbolizing eternity, were a common motif for Victorian jewelry; even Queen Victoria’s engagement ring had one! This singular example features hallmarks that indicate it was assayed in London in 1873.
This ring is in very good antique condition. It is a US size 7.75 and can be re-sized with limitations.
