We don’t visit every year, but when we do, we must stay at the Hotel de la Mare. On the first night, toast a glass of champagne in the courtyard. Our favorite table in the corner, the one half under the awning, is always somehow free. There’s live music; band leader Guillaume has led the horns for over 30 years. Guillaume always knows when that first glass of bubbles is getting low, that’s when he strikes up our song. Dancing on the cobblestones, it feels like we’ve gone back in time.

This Edwardian diamond ring has come to us through time, with two well matched diamonds set next to each other on the top. Additionally, two diamonds are set in each tapered shoulder. The total diamond carat weight is approx. 0.85CTW; diamonds are old European cut, of G/H color and VS2 clarity. All stones are set in platinum atop 18K yellow gold. 

This ring is in excellent antique condition. It is presently finger size 6.5 and can be resized.
