A night at the opera. We splurged on the good seats in a round box. Brought our birding binoculars, not the most elegant but they do the job just fine. When the lights come up after Act 1, we ascend the grand staircase for a glass of champagne. It’s marvelously bright after leaving the dark auditorium, the lobby lights above the circular stair somehow timeless and also firmly Mid-Century. They were made to make everything beneath them sparkle. The bubbles rising in my glass. The smile firmly fixed upon me. The diamond ring with incredible sparkle, the band gently clinking against my glass when we toast.

Just stunning. A sparkling ring that makes you gasp at how absolutely gorgeous it is, this ring features a GIA certified 3.23 carat modified marquise cut diamond, set North-South, of H color and VVS1 clarity. The proportions of this marquis are incredibly pleasing on the hand. It has an additional kiss of sparkle on each side in the form of a bullet shaped baguette diamond. A minimalist platinum setting. This ring was made c. 1920-1935.

This ring is in excellent antique condition. It is presently finger size 6 and can be resized.
