Table Cut Diamond Ring
Table Cut Diamond Ring
This is a truly special piece. A late Victorian/early 20th Century mourning ring with such a neat design. In the center of a geometric sunburst design is a bead-set 3.9mm table cut diamond, one of the earliest faceting styles for the gem. It is surrounded by a rippling black enamel down the shoulders and the top of the tapered band. The inside of the ring is engraved with the date 1/11/1900 and Mit Gott, German for "With God".
This ring is in excellent antique condition. It is finger size 8; please note it cannot be resized.
