Sapphire Target Ring
Sapphire Target Ring
It’s the stuff of a Jane Austen novel. Emma and Mr. Knightley bantering (flirting?) in the garden over rounds of archery. Witty repartee amid the thwacks of arrows hitting their targets. The one arrow they don’t see is Cupid’s as they try to best each other, absolutely falling in love.
For the target of your affection, a treasure of an Art Deco ring in platinum. At the center, a 0.25ct old European cut diamond of color G-Hand SI2 clarity is surrounded in blue by 12 step cut sapphires. All stones are wrapped in a millegrained channel. The delicate basket features minimal pierce work descending into a slender band. It was made c.1920-1930.
This ring is in excellent antique condition. It is finger size 6.5 and can be resized.
