The painting in its gilded frame, the hand wrought statue atop its carved pedestal, the silver tea service in its fitted box. One of the wonderful qualities of handcraft is that no detail is forgotten, including how the art is displayed. This work is just as exquisite and it enhances the original creation into something even more special, eye catching, marvelous.

This ornate early-Victorian ring is entirely the sum of its wonderful, handmade parts. It features a faceted oval electric green peridot that is approximately 0.33 carats. It is set in 18K yellow gold prongs with a floral-inspired surround of antique rose cut diamonds set in silver. The piece is finished with an ornate, hand engraved 18K yellow gold band with a floral motif inspired by folklore as much as high art. Based upon materials and design, this piece was made c. 1840. 

This ring is in excellent antique condition. It is presently finger size 7.5 and can be resized.
