Intertwined Snakes Ring
Intertwined Snakes Ring
Someone wise once said that our partner in love is like a diamond in the rough. And over the years we spend together, we polish each other into our most brilliant selves. Should you wish to add a little extra sparkle to your polishing journey, may we suggest the perfectly imperfect old mine cut diamond. And these are set in a Victorian era symbol of everlasting love, the kind achieved over a lifetime of loving companionship.
A happy late Victorian double snake ring in bright 18K yellow gold. Each snake has an approx. 0.15 carat old mine cut diamond set into the head and two wee old mine cut diamond eyes (approx. 0.34CTW). They are each entwined around a wide gold band. The interior has full English hallmarks for 18K gold, assayed in Birmingham c. 1898. It also has the maker's mark S&C, which we have not yet been able to identify.
This ring is in excellent antique condition. It is presently about finger size 8.75 and can be resized.
