Graduated Old Mine Cut Ring

$3,150.00

A summer hike through the Montana foothills. The refreshing breeze tells us we’re out of the valley now, the summer sun tempered by an alpine coolness. Wildflowers sway across the worn earthen path as we climb and climb. And as we trek, we pass the little mouths of abandoned mine entrances, from which treasures were once first revealed in the light of day.  There was once gold in those hills. And today, it’s on our fingers.

A marvelous Victorian ring made c. 1890. So wearable, it features five graduated old mine cut diamonds bead-set low in an 18K yellow gold 5.5mm wide ring which tapers to 4mm. The center cushiony old mine cut is approx. 0.07 carats with two additional approx. 0.04 carat old mine cuts on either side (total carat weight approx. 0.23CTW). The inside of the band is stamped 18ct.

This ring is in excellent antique condition. It is presently finger size 6.5 and can be resized.
