Gorgeous Gallery Engagement Ring

$12,800.00

Maybe you’ve heard us say it in our store. But now we’re putting it to paper (well, on our website). It’s one of our favorite things about antique rings. Think about it this way: you wear a ring on your finger. All folks can see the view from the top. But you, the wearer, can catch it from all the angles as you go about your day. The work along the gallery, the engraving on the sides of the band, all these little details are for you.

Made in 14k white gold, this Edwardian solitaire has a center old European cut diamond set in a bezel. The diamond is 1.32 carats and GIA certified as F color and SI1 clarity.  From the top, the polished shoulder tops lend the impression of an unadorned solitaire. But when your eye catches the gallery: all the openwork and gorgeous hand-engraving, you realize there is more here than meets the eye. Based upon materials and design, this ring was made c. 1915-1925.

This ring is in excellent antique condition. It is presently finger size 7.5 and can be resized.
