Georgian Diamond Bow of a Ring
Georgian Diamond Bow of a Ring
A true antique, this Georgian silver and gold diamond ring wears its age with pride. It has all the classic hallmarks of a piece from this period. Diamonds snugly set in silver, crimped over on all sides. Gold always touching the skin and here it is in a warm and silky 18K yellow around the finger.
It features a central antique cushion cut brown diamond that is approximately 0.88 carats. Three antique rose cut diamonds flank either side to create a bow-inspired shape across the top of the finger that flatters every hand. The total diamond weight is approximately 0.96CTW. The shape of this ring is a common Georgian style; all diamonds are foil backed and set in a close backed silver setting, which has oxidized over time, atop a shank in 18K yellow gold. This ring was made in the late 18th century.
This ring is in great antique condition, showing minor traces of a previous resizing. It is presently size 6.5 and can be resized.
