A Victorian double snake ring with a wonderful pop of color. This piece is handmade in 15K yellow gold and each coiled snake has individual hand engraved details; one is striped and another is a scaly friend. Each has an approx. 0.08 carat diamond set into the head (one old Euro, one old mine cut) and they cradle a central square emerald cut emerald in a collet or crimped setting. Engraving continues halfway around the double band. This ring was made c. 1870 and is of English origin, though its hallmarks have been lost in a previous resizing.

This ring is in excellent antique condition. It is presently finger size 7.5 and can be resized.
