Diamonds Across the Finger Ring
Diamonds Across the Finger Ring
So many things are best as the sum of their parts. A freshly baked cake. A vase of beautifully arranged flowers. A curated exhibition on a topic we’re keen to learn about. All the pieces fit together, tell a story, be it of color, history, or good design.
This ring is a delightful sum of its parts, designed in a geometric East-West style across the finger. It is set with a center 0.42 carat old European cut diamond that is approximately I color and SI1 clarity. It is surrounded by 14 old European cut diamonds that weigh approx. 0.63CTW and range in H-I color and SI1 clarity, for a total diamond carat weight of approximately 1.05CTW. Diamonds are set in platinum atop a 18K white gold gallery designed with openwork in architectural patterns and lots of lovely millgrain detailing. The inside of the band is stamped 18 and with a maker’s mark we have not been able to identify.
This ring is in excellent antique condition. It is presently finger size 5.5 and can be resized.
