Art Deco Jade Ring
Art Deco Jade Ring
They just finished renovating that antique covered bridge in the park. The domed ceiling’s intricate woodwork is all polished up. It has immediately become the spot for musicians to practice. They’re usually solo, the trumpeters or saxophonists, but sometimes in a trio or quartet, and they all seem to prefer to play jazz.
It’s the perfect way to spend an evening, listening to the brassy notes jump off the rounded bridge ceiling out into the grassy area where we’ve set up our blanket. This music has been making hot summer nights cool for over a century.
This artistic ring is the epitome of the jazz age, magnificent Art Deco! At the center is a pale green oval opal cabochon, flanked by a square cut emerald on either side. Above and below, more pure Deco, are a line of three baguette diamonds, with three round single cut diamonds on either side. All are set in platinum, with the band stamped 950pt. The diamond carat weight totals approximately 1.02ctw.
This ring is in excellent antique condition. It is presently a finger size 5.25 and can be resized.
