Such fabulous geometry! This great Art Deco diamond engagement ring was made to highlight some neat stones that totally encapsulate the design moment. The step cut at the center came into its own during the 1920s, loved for its refreshingly balanced facets. And the marquise cut, such an elegant shape, was largely saved for regal jewelry until 20th Century jewelers brought it to the masses. Set in East/West orientation, these stones lay beautifully across the finger.

This ring’s center stone is a prong-set 0.75 carat square step cut diamond of approx. H-I color and VS2 clarity. On either side, approx. 0.10 carat antique marquise cut diamonds are set in millegrained bezels. Total carat weight approx. 0.95CTW. The squared band's shoulders match the curve of the marquise cuts before gently tapering to the bottom. The inside of the ring has the whimsical "Certified Platinum" stamp of New York based Art Deco era jeweler Katz & Ogush. 

This ring is in excellent antique condition. It is presently finger size 5.75 and can be resized.
