Antique Tiffany & Co. 3.21 Carat Engagement Ring

$84,000.00

Up the grand stairs at the New York Historical Society, we stroll from room to room. Sure, we’re admiring the pictures, the antique objects, the many stories of yore, but they’re the gilding on the journey to our final destination. Enter the room, softly lit, with the golden glow casting gentle shadows. Each cut glass lamp is of gorgeous design with impeccable detail, just iconic. The early 20th Century was a special time for Tiffany, when their renown, design, and craftsmanship of objects and jewelry were at their peak and internationally renown.

A stunning early 20th Century Tiffany & Co. diamond engagement ring. The 3.21 rectangular diamond is not quite an emerald cut, not quite an Asscher, but something all its own. We call it a mixed step cut and it is GIA certified as being J color and VS2 clarity. It is set in a crisp, millegrained bezel. The geometric platinum setting is Art Deco at its finest with filigree wire work and millegrain. The tapering shoulders are set with 22 old European cut diamonds that weigh approx. 0.27CTW, for a total diamond carat weight of 3.48CTW. Lovely hand engraved details embellish the band beneath the diamonds. The inside of the band is stamped TIFFANY & CO.

This ring is in excellent antique condition. It is presently finger size 6 and can be resized. It comes with its original signed velvet box.
