We’re walking through Europe’s great cities. And, we promised ourselves we’d stop in every church along the way, if only just for a minute. They’re labors of love with the carved wood, the mosaics, the paintings, the windows; there’s always some new detail to spot. They’re often quiet introspective places, lovely to take a moment away from the bustle of the city streets. The air smells faintly of incense, of the passage of time.

Here, a weighty pearl cross pendant in bright 15K yellow gold. It is ornamented 12 pearls, while each end of the cross is embellished with three rose cut diamonds. It was made c. 1850.

This necklace is in excellent antique condition. It measures 2" long and 1.25" wide. It is hung on a 26" 9K gold chain.
