Victorian Gold & Enamel Bracelet Pair
Victorian Gold & Enamel Bracelet Pair
A slender pair of bangles in 14k yellow gold with black tracery enamel detailing and stippled surface. One side of bangles has a floral, geometric pattern, the other a foliate pattern. They are hinged for easy on/off. When these bracelets were first made in the late 19th century they would have been worn one on each wrist, but we think they look very nice stacked. Surviving pairs of Victorian bracelets are becoming quite rare, making this set quite special. Each bracelet measures ¼ inches in width, and the openings measure 2 ¼ inches by 1 ¾ inches.
This pair of bangles is in very good antique condition. One bracelet is missing its safety chain, and there are small, filed notches present on both bracelets.
