Enamel Snake Bangle

$0.00

We are smitten by this charming snake. The head and tail are blue enamel, and ruby cabochon eyes are set beneath whimsical gold eyebrows. The red eyes were a symbol of passion while the tail in mouth design denotes eternity. We love the attention to detail - the clasp’s tongue peeps out! This 14K yellow gold Victorian bangle is hinged at the bottom, and is most likely American made c. 1860.

This bangle is in very good antique condition, with some very tiny chips to the enamel. Bangle will fit a small to medium wrist size. Width E-W is approx. 6 cm; width N-S is approx. 4.75cm. Safety chain has a spring ring clasp for easy on and off.
