Repoussé is an interesting technique. Think of the design. Now, think of its opposite, of the negative spaces. Repoussé is achieved by hammering the inverse of a design to create it in relief.

A charming pendant necklace with a sparkling diamond at the center. The old mine cut diamond is bead-set in a round frame of 14k yellow gold, with flourishes of repoussé work. Once a stick pin, now a pendant  fixed to a modern 18" cable chain in 14K yellow gold with a spring ring clasp.  The best part, no clasp will make its way to the front, it never slides and sits perfectly all the time.
