During a moment long before smartphone cameras or FaceTime, a photograph of a loved one was a rare and precious thing – something worth keeping in a gold locket as special as this one. This locket hails from that moment. Made in 15 karat yellow gold with a bright bloomed finish and centered on one old European cut diamond that weighs approximately 0.15 carats, and is J-K color and SI1 clarity. The locket opens to reveal space for two images, both currently filled with two precious photos of one gentleman. Made c. 1900.
