One can receive any number of hearts in a lifetime. A paper valentine. A red box full of chocolate. A colorful emoji loving my text message. But once in a while, a special heart like this comes along. For those that wear their heart on their sleeve, may we suggest resting it on an antique cable chain instead? 

This sweet heart locket necklace in 15K rosy yellow gold features an approx. 0.18 carat old mine cut diamond set in a pretty engraved mariner's star setting. Inside the locket is a fabric covered frame. The rear interior of the locket is stamped 15 for 15K gold. Near the chain’s clasp is an applique stamped 15 ct, also indicating the metal. It was made in the Victorian era c. 1880.

This necklace is in excellent antique condition.  The locket measures 0.75" long by 5/8" wide. It hangs from an 18" long cable chain with a bayonet clasp.
