The cobblestone streets of Montmartre at dusk, freshly cleaned by the late morning rain (an excuse to have a lie in on vacation, twist our arms whydontcha). Now we trod upon the stones, first to Cave des Abbesses to dine on every cheese. Then a cheese-fueled race up the hill to Square Nadar to watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle on the hour. And then wind around for a cocktail outside at Chez Eugene. Finally, back down the cobblestone hill we go just as the gas lamps come on, brightly waving their evening lights in wrought iron frames. 

To light your way, a wonderful antique, handmade watch chain that looks pretty perfect around the neck. Open air lozenge links made of gold wire, reminiscent of gas lamps of yore, alternate with sections of cable chain. Swivel and spring ring for the clasp, making it easy to attach a pendant if you like. Some links near the clasp are stamped 18K. This chain was made C. 1900.

This chain is in excellent antique condition. It measures 14.75" in length.
