It is studded with 112 seed pearls, including some sweet little ones at the edges. Some are warmer toned with age and love, beautifully meshing with the 14K gold heart. And, in such a fine line, we have 14 old mine cut diamonds set diagonally across the piece. 

A sweet little brooch and pendant in 14K yellow gold. Wear it as a pendant with a hidden hook to add your favorite dangle, or fold the hinged bail down and pin it on as a brooch. These sweet paved pearl brooches were popular c. 1900, and this one was likely American-made.

This piece is in great antique condition. It measures a bit over 1" across and 1.25" long including the bail. Some of the little pearls have been replaced for a beautiful pebbled look. A variety of gold chains are available separately for purchase.
