Antique Natural Pearl Strand
Antique Natural Pearl Strand
Whether draped across the subject of an Elizabethan portrait, peeking out of the collar of a Chanel suit, or nested among your favorite chains, the pursuit of chic very often leads to pearls. After all, the same strand your grandmother wore would have looked equally en vogue 100 years before at a Regency-era ball. And, of course, today, lustrous atop your favorite shirt.
Here we have the sweetest graduated pearl strand. It's finished with a platinum tongue clasp set with three approx. 0.10 carat old European cut diamonds in millegrained bezels (0.30CTW). The 145 natural saltwater pearls (one is cultured) range from 1.8-5.15mm. It was made in the early 20th Century. The pearls are GIA certified as being natural saltwater pearls.
This necklace is in excellent antique condition. The strand measures just shy of 18" long.
