We’re all waiting, quiet, some folks’ soft chat blending with the insects hum. Until we see them wiggle, slow at first, but soon the beach is covered in little friends. Tiny turtles all following their innate intuition. To the sea, little ones, to the sea!

A charming turtle in 18K yellow gold. The shell is set with 28 square cut sapphires and two wee single cut diamond eyes. 2 pin closure. Signed Gübelin, a Swiss watchmaker that expanded their firm to create high-end jewelry in the early-mid 20th Century. This piece was made c. 1960.

This brooch is in excellent vintage condition. It measures 1.25" from head to tail.
