This impressive brooch features a large, swirly green malachite cabochon framed with an exquisite border of Etruscan-style wirework and granulation. Most likely made in Russia c. 1870, this piece measures 2 inches in length by 1½ inches in height. The brooch is in good antique condition, catch and pin are a later replacement.
