A vintage Cartier Trinity bangle bracelet that makes music on the wrist. Three linking bangles of 18K yellow, white and rose gold gently roll on. All three components have French hallmarks for 18K gold and Cartier's maker's mark lozenge on the exterior. The rose gold bangle is also signed on the interior. 

The Cartier Trinity line began in 1924, starting with a ring and followed shortly by a bangle; both were exhibited by Cartier at the 1925 Paris Exposition. The original design featured platinum instead of white gold for the white metal component, though white gold took its place shortly thereafter. The three colors are meant to symbolize friendship, loyalty and love. This vintage incarnation is French-made c.1960 and features the soft pale pink and yellow of vintage alloys, coming together in a way we find more harmonious than the modern iterations, which celebrated their centennial in 2024. This bracelet comes with its original box.

This bracelet is in excellent vintage condition, with just the barest signs of wear. Each bangle's interior diameter is 2 5/8" with a 8.7mm width, making it the Extra Large model.
