French Flowers Link Bracelet
French Flowers Link Bracelet
A map of Paris. Like a stained glass window, each piece cut by hand, the streets make stars, roundabout, and there’s so much green. Practically every third street has a pale little triangle, a public park, an opportunity for reprieve. Put your feet up, finish your book, have a little treat. And when spring gets going, dare we suggest you stop and smell every flower?
This bracelet is like a springtime park all year round. Gorgeous, buttery yellow 18K gold floral links alternate between larger and smaller blooms. The 28 links that connect them are set with old mine cut diamonds in millegrained platinum bezels. The back of the links have splendid floral engraving, just incredible attention to detail. The tongue clasp fits behind one of the links and has French hallmarks. A nice detachable spring ring helps for easy clasping. Made in the late 19th Century at a wonderful design moment - the opulence of the Edwardian era, the floral of Art Nouveau, the handcraft as only the French could make. Exquisite!
This bracelet is in excellent antique condition. It measures 7.75" long.
