Edwardian Gem-set Bracelet

$6,750.00

The Edwardian era, when elegance and athleticism meet and ladies are keen to take part. Think of the Gibson Girl, she’s frolicking at the beach, she’s going the distance on her bicycle, making the save with her badminton racket, jumping equestrian hurdles with the best of them. She always looks good doing it (hair is a perfect pompadour) and her sparkling accessories are the perfect encapsulation of the moment.

Like in this delightful antique puffed curb link bracelet. Alternating elongated curb links are bezel-set with four old mine cut diamonds (total carat weight approx. 1.40CTW) and five round and oval faceted blue sapphires (total carat weight approx. 3.20CTW. All gem carat weights are by formula. It has a hallmark for 15ct gold on the link next to the box clasp. There's a safety chain for easy clasping. Based upon materials and design, this piece was made during the Edwardian era c. 1900-1910.

This bracelet is in excellent antique condition. It measures 7.5" long and links are about 3/8" at their widest.
