La Fée Verte, or "The Green Fairy," became a popular nickname for the glittering green spirit absinthe in the late 19th Century. Right around that same time, a different glittering green gem was selected for its magical warm, electric color, its unique beauty, and its easy complement to buttery yellow gold. When these gems catch the light, they are spirited indeed! 

A bright and happy 14K yellow gold cannetille bracelet. It features five emerald-cut peridot stations, bezel set in a frame decorated with intricate wire and bead work. In between them are five old European cut diamond stations, bezel set in a four petal flower. The box clasp fits into one of the peridot stations and includes a safety chain for easy on and off. It is stamped 14K on the back and signed Kohn for Newark's Kohn & Co., who operated from the end of the 19th-Early 20th Century and were known for their Art Nouveau gems. 

This bracelet is in excellent antique condition. It measures 7" in length.
