We are pleased to announce that Gray & Davis is partnering with the Morbid Anatomy Museum to present for sale a selection of Victorian hairwork jewelry from our vault.
The pieces, all dating from the mid-nineteenth century, are available exclusively at the museum’s gift shop in Brooklyn. Founded earlier this year, the Morbid Anatomy museum explores the intersections of death, beauty and that which falls between the cracks. Their current exhibition, The Art of Mourning, is on view through January 5th. We highly recommend it as an afternoon excursion on a cold winter’s day.
