A souvenir pin from the mid-Victorian era. This 18k yellow gold brooch spells out "SALVE" and features Etruscan-style wire-work rosettes. It measures 1 3/4 inches in length, and 1/2 inch in height. This piece is in very good antique condition, the pin mechanism is a later replacement.
