The iconic French firm Van Cleef & Arpels has made jewelry history by running circles around it’s competition. More specifically, solid gold, ultra-chic circles with fluted detailing, kind of like these stunning ear clips. The firm’s repute was not won alone, in fact these earrings were manufactured by renown French house Pery & Fils who also made the famous Passe Partout and Ludo collections for Van Cleef and made jewels for the likes of Tiffany & Co. and Mauboussin as well. These earrings were made c.1940-1960 and feature clip on closures for pierced or non-pierced ears.

These earrings are in excellent vintage condition and have French Hallmarks, Van Cleef hallmarks and numbering, and Pery & Fils’ maker’s mark. Clip on closure.
