Lovely Art Deco Platinum engagement ring featuring a .58 carat Old European cut diamond of G-H color and SI2 clarity. A step-down pattern of single-cut diamonds decorates the shoulders in their very own little milligrained boxes. The gallery is rendered in iconic Deco openwork. Total diamond carat weight is .76 carats. Inner band is hallmarked ‘900 plat and 100 Irid’ indicating that this piece is 90% platinum and 10% iridium, a common alloy for platinum in the 1920's Ring is currently a size 7.25 and can be resized. This ring was made c.1920-1930 and is in excellent antique condition and shows minute signs of wear commensurate with age.
