We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: platinum changed the jewelry game. A ring such as this, with nearly as much open space as solid would simply not have been possible before the advent of platinum, a metal both stronger and denser than gold. The ring itself is a study in cathedral pointed archways – from the open framework throughout the top and gallery to the shape of the marquise center stones – formed of opposing pointed arches. The overall effect is elegant, organic and has just a touch of winter wonderland vibes.

This ring is in excellent antique condition. Made by hand during the Edwardian era c. 1905 with some motifs borrowed from the Art Nouveau style. Set with two marquise diamonds that total approximately 1.0 carats and are G-H, VS2 quality. Old European cut diamonds total approximately 0.30 carats all set in platinum. The ring is presently a size 9 and can be resized.
