This snake ring is everything a classic Victorian snake should be; 15 karat gold, rich bloomed finished, rubies for eyes, a sapphire set into the head, and a diamond rattle tail. But, it is also something we’ve never come across before…a brooch! The ring unfurls into a three-dimensional brooch with two pin attachments allowing it to stand up tall on your lapel. Today’s brooch can become tomorrow’s ring, and just like that, yesteryear’s jewelry steals the moment.

The oval sapphire weighs approximately 1.00 carats and the brooch is in excellent antique condition. Made c. 1850 – 1870. Presently a size 5.75 and cannot be resized.
