Love can be hard to explain. Often it’s quiet and calm; but also it’s colorful, it’s over-the-top! It’s committing to a shared life of messy goodness. It is here represented by twin ruby hearts, resting on a foundation of gold, framed and crowned by old, wonky diamonds that illustrate the worthiness of the hearts’ union.

Victorian "twin heart" ring. Two pear shaped pinkish red rubies are set in a surround of old mine cut diamonds and topped with a diamond bow motif. Gems are set in silver, gallery and decorative band are in 18k yellow gold. Each ruby is approx. 0.25 carats (.5 total ctw) and diamonds have a total weight of 0.80 carats. 2nd half of 19th century. Presently a size 5.75. This ring can be resized.
