Platinum Emerald Navette

$14,700.00

The French word ‘navette’ comes from the Latin word ‘navis’, for ship; carriers of our precious cargo for all of history. This navette ring, so named for its nautical shape, carries a treasure just the same. A lush emerald is carefully set in a millgrained bezel at the center of this ring, and two old euros are bezel set at the tips. All three adrift in a sea of bead set, single cut diamonds.

This ring is in excellent antique condition. Made in platinum c. 1915 during the early Art Deco period. The emerald weighs approximately 1.20 carats, the two old Euros total approximately 0.64 carats and are J-K, VS2–SI1 quality. The single cut melee weighs approximately 0.23 carats for a total diamond weight of 0.87 carats. Presently a size 6.25 and can be resized.
