Not your average solitaire. This handmade platinum ring is a feast for the eye. The mounting is accented by rhythmic hand-engraved floral patterns moving up each side of the shank, and lotus shaped openwork adorning the gallery and flooding the center diamond with light. The old European cut diamond is bead set in a hexagon-shaped frame with a delicate halo of milgraining. The center diamond is certified by GIA as being 1.01 carats, K color and VS1 clarity and has all the big character we love in an old diamond. Both mounting and diamond are over one hundred years old, made c. 1915 during the Edwardian era.

This ring is in excellent antique condition. Presently a size 8 and can be resized.
