Edwardian Emerald 3-Stone

$26,500.00

Nothing beats Art Deco design when it comes to finding harmony in contrasting geometric forms. We have the perfect example in this emerald and diamond 3-stone ring. The rectangular emerald is a deep and lively green and set in a square bezel to match its outline. On either side are round old European cut diamonds set in bezels, which simultaneously balance the emerald and dazzle in their own right. The ring is made in platinum and has a geometry all its own in the form of open latticework throughout the gallery and four petit circles for good measure. Made c. 1920. The center emerald weighs approximately 1.00 carats and is certified by the American Gemological Laboratories as being Colombian in origin with minor clarity treatment. The diamonds are both certified by GIA as follows; 1.09 carat H color VVS2 clarity, and 1.10 carat I color VVS1 clarity.

This ring is in very good antique condition, please note a few surface abrasions on the emerald. Presently a size 8.5 and can be resized.
