Early 20th Century Diamond Band
Early 20th Century Diamond Band
Rings have long symbolized endless love, because their basic form is a circle, the universal symbol of eternity. During the Victorian era, the subject of coiled snakes and buckles enriched that love language with their symbolism. But more recently the gem set eternity ring, which mimics the circle’s endlessness with an endless row of diamonds, has taken center stage. This one set with round diamonds bead set in platinum. The diamonds total approximately 0.95 carats and are H-I/VS quality. Decorated on the outside with floral hand-engraving, made c .1915.
This band is in excellent condition. Presently a size 5 and can be resized.
